Portman's new 4,000-square feet mansion, with floor-to-ceiling water views, comes with four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool, outdoor fireplace, and ultra-modern finishes.
Though it sits on more than 10 acres of land, the Oscar winner's vacation home is actually modest next to those belonging to other A-listers nearby.
Oprah Winfrey, for instance, enjoys a 42-acre estate, as does Ellen DeGeneres, although the talk show host recently put the Italian-style villa on the market for $45 million. Actor Rob Lowe is also familiar with the area, while Jeff Bridges and Drew Barrymore recently sold.
The average value of a home in Montecito, per Zillow, is slightly more than $3 million, or about 15 times the national average.
